What visitors say

★★★★★

I walk here at least once a month. There are many trails other than the main rail trail so start exploring! The park also has one of the only natural caves in MD. I feel so lucky to live near here. Did I mention there’s a serpentine barrens here???

★★★★★

Great for group hiking! Enjoyed the scenic scenery and the helpful signs to guide you through the trolls. Playground and picnic areas, clean and vary throughout the park.

★★★★★

Pleasant hike but some of the trails are confusing. Better to stay near the lake because one of the trails leads you right down to a highway.

FYI: This park used to be called Robert E. Lee Park. Since the name change it is now apart of me and my daughter monthly hikes. Lake has beautiful views from multiple angles, a kids park, a pavilion and multiple trails to hike.
